Confused about the latest subscription options Autodesk has to offer? Check out this animated buyer’s guide which explains the difference between traditional perpetual licenses and the new Autodesk Subscription method which includes Desktop, Maintenance and Cloud Service.

Autodesk is changing the way you access your software. Soon all Autodesk software will only be available to purchase through subscription to help provide a simplified and more cost effective service. In turn, this will make it easier to introduce new tools and technology with every update.

Perpetual licenses of most individual products will not be available for purchase after January 31st 2016 and after July 31st 2016 perpetual licenses of most Design and Creation Suites will no longer be available for purchase.

Your existing perpetual licenses can continue to be used and kept up to date with an active Maintenance subscription and until January 31st you will still have the option to continue to purchase perpetual licenses.
