With Autodesk LIVE there is a new and exciting way to effectively express you building visions to clients. Create powerful, interactive experiences in just a few clicks within Autodesk Revit.
Earlier this year Autodesk announced it was in the process of creating Autodesk LIVE for Revit, and now the software is officially in its beta phase so it can be tested by users.
Autodesk LIVE can be connected with a VR headset such as the Oculus Rift or HTC Vive to create a fully immersive and real-time experience of building models created within Revit. Autodesk LIVE is more than just viewing a model, the software enables the user to get a better understanding and realistic experience of the building before it’s even been built.

Step inside your design and walk anywhere within the Revit environment. Features such as sun position can be changed, enabling you to see your visualisation at night, as well as choosing different shadow positions. Furthermore, there is an info tool included which allows you to see BIM information for different parts of the building, such as materials, electrical usage and dimensions of the structure.
Current Autodesk LIVE subscribers will automatically gain access to the beta, while new users of the software can be downloaded if you have a subscription with Autodesk or by downloading a 30-day trial.
