Revit Technician

Job Type: Contract

Salary: Dependent on experience

With an increasing workload, our Project Services team needs an additional Revit technician to assist with upcoming BIM projects.

You will be engaged initially on a fixed term contract to assist with a prestigious Scan-to-BIM project – the creation of a highly detailed 3D model of an existing heritage government building to LOD4.

In terms of skillset, you will have:

• 12 months solid use of Autodesk Revit software (essential).
• A good understanding of, and the ability to create, Revit families (essential).
• If you have experience of creating models from point cloud datasets that would be great but it is not essential – we will provide training.

You will currently live no more than 1 hour away from our office here in Billingshurst, West Sussex. Use of your own transport for the daily commute to the office is essential.

Other qualities we are looking for in candidates are:

• A keen eye for detail and precision
• Ability to work under pressure and to work to project deadlines – no ifs, buts or maybes.
• Ability to fit in to a small team.
• Happy to get your head down, get on with the job and take pride in producing excellent work.

You will work under the guidance and supervision of our Project Lead but you will be expected to get on with your tasks unsupervised as well.

Ideally, you will be a UK/EU citizen with 3 years UK residence but other applicants will also be considered.

This is a prestigious, high-profile project which will really test your skills. It is also the first of a number of similar projects in the pipeline so there is every opportunity for extension of your contract term or a transfer to permanent status in due course.
