We’re excited to announce we now offer Autodesk Inventor courses at Benchmarq! The courses will run in two parts over four days to make it easier for students to digest the curriculum and practice the skills they have learnt in between sessions.
Autodesk Inventor is the go to professional software for 3D mechanical design, documentation and product simulation. Autodesk Inventor is a solid modelling design software used for creating precise 3D models. The models are used in the design and simulation of products making it the ideal software for mechanical and product designers.
What will I learn on the course?
During the four days we will go over the fundamentals of the software including assemblies, creating sketches, sheet metal design, navigating the user interface such as learning about the ribbon, browser and different commands and much more. You can read the full agenda here.
All of our courses are run by trained professionals, with years of experience in their particular fields. During the course you will work on real life examples with plenty of time to ask any burning questions you may have about the software. We also offer Autodesk Certified User and Certifed Professional exams if you would like to put your skills to the test and prove your expertise using the Inventor software.
Why should I learn how to use Autodesk Inventor?
Autodesk Inventor is an incredibly powerful tool which features an integrated motion simulation and assembly stress analysis environment meaning users can run simulation tests on their designs to see how the product will handle real-world conditions.
Inventor also features a BIM exchange tool that can be used to create and publish 3D representations, connection points and more into native file formats. The software uses different file formats for parts (IPT), drawing views (DWG and IDW) and assemblies (IAM).
Now is a very exciting time to be in the manufacturing and engineering industries with the development of 3D printing and software. 3D printing can be combined with Autodesk inventor for testing and faster production.
